A desperate father has put out an urgent appeal to find his missing daughter before Christmas, 13 days after she disappeared from her Texas home. Sydney Marquez, 24, was last seen walking northbound along a road in a diverse area of southwest Houston on December 11, and her father fears that some people who might have seen her may be reluctant to speak to the police because of their immigration status. “If you see my daughter, if she’s endangered. Please don’t stay quiet. If you see something, if you know something, please say something,” her father Raul Marquez told KHOU11. “I miss my daughter, she needs to come home,” he added. Sydney’s three sisters described their family’s ordeal as a “nightmare before Christmas, as they urged anyone who may have seen her to contact authorities.
