GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — A man died on Christmas after being hit by a vehicle in Grand Prairie, according to police.Â
The Grand Prairie Police Department (GPPD) said the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 25 in the 5400 block of Lake Ridge Parkway.Â
Police said the man tried to cross the road and was hit by a vehicle. Grand Prairie Fire Department medics declared the man dead at the scene, police said.Â
The identity of the man who died will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office after next of kin have been notified.Â
