COLLEGE STATION — After the best regular season in over 30 years for Texas A&M football the Aggies must prove that success wasn’t just a blip on the radar.
A team that will lose both its coordinators, some NFL-level talent, and some transfers could look quite different in 2025, and here’s where you can track all those developments.
A&M started the season 11-0 and was ranked inside the top three nationally for much of the year. But after a loss to Texas in the regular-season finale and a first-round exit in the College Football Playoff to Miami, the Aggies leave 2025 on a sour note.
As A&M turns its attention to the 2026 season, the eligibility of more than 20 players will expire. The first opportunity the Aggies will have to help build out their new roster for next season is through the transfer portal.
With hopes of making it back to the CFP for a second consecutive season, it may take a similar hit rate for general manager Derek Miller and Co. this offseason.
Here’s everything we know about Texas A&M’s 2026 transfer portal comings and goings:
Portal opens Jan. 2. Updates to follow.
