Carla Wyatt (Harris County)
HOUSTON – The Harris County treasurer was arrested on Saturday after being accused of breaking into a vehicle, according to court records.
Carla Wyatt has been charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Wyatt is set to make her first court appearance on Friday.
Court documents allege Wyatt broke into the vehicle with the intent to commit theft.
Wyatt has been arrested before. Court records indicate she was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated back in 2023, but the charge was dismissed after she completed a pretrial diversion program.
