Police are searching for an 81-year-old man diagnosed with a cognitive impairment who was last seen in North Texas.
The Abilene Police Department said Earnest Brooks, a white male, was last seen around 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 29 near Midway Road and Belt Line Road in Addison.
Abilene Police said the man’s disappearance is believed to pose a credible threat to his health and safety.

Brooks was last seen wearing a white ball cap, green long-sleeve button-down shirt, blue jeans, and brown dress shoes, police said.
Investigators believe Brooks may be traveling in a blue 2014 Ford F-150 bearing Texas license plate 7SBFN.
