SLATON, Texas (KCBD) – On Tuesday morning, law enforcement agencies responded to an officer-involved shooting in Slaton, that left one suspect dead.
According to DPS, the incident happened near East Division Street and South 7th Street around 7:30 a.m.
Officials say the Slaton Police Department called the Texas Rangers to assist with an officer-involved shooting.
DPS says the suspect died at the scene, and no officers were hurt in the shooting and one victim was treated for minor injuries.
The Texas Rangers are investigating the incident, and no further details have been released at this time.
