Fox 4 (KDFW-TV) meteorologist Julia Fife’s last day at the station will be Tuesday, she announced on social media.

“What an honor it has been to work alongside legends in this industry that I’ve looked up to for so many years,” Fife wrote in a Monday post to Facebook.

“Thank you DFW for welcoming me into your homes. It’s been a blast and a dream come true for this Texas girl.”

It’s unclear what Fife’s next move entails. She arrived at the station this summer from Fox 13 in Memphis, where she was a meteorologist. It was a homecoming of sorts for Fife, who was a traffic anchor for KDFW-TV between 2018 and 2019.

Her first appearance on air, though, had little to do with weather. She performed on the program as a Mavericks dancer.

The station’s team has seen an exodus of on-air talent as of late. Evan Andrews, who was a meteorologist for over 25 years at Fox 4, retired in October. Hanna Battah departed after 7.5 years that same month, later announcing she had joined ABC News. Dylan Federico left in July to be a meteorologist at WSVN in Miami.

CORRECTION, DEC. 30, 2025: This story has been revised to reflect that recent departures of on-air talent from Fox 4 are not exclusive to the weather team.
