Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley has been picked for the Team Canada roster for the upcoming 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics.
The Canadians unveiled their 25-man roster on Wednesday. Harley, 24, will join Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid, Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon and Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar on the ice for the Canadians. See the full position-by-position breakdown of the team here.
The 6-foot-3-inch, 214-pound defender was born in Syracuse, New York, but has dual U.S. and Canadian citizenship. He has played for Canada in the World Junior Championship and the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Harley recently signed a long-term extension to stay in Dallas through the 2033-34 season, worth about $85 million. He’s played in 27 of the team’s 39 games so far this season and has two goals, 12 assists and 14 points. Harley was drafted in the first round by the Dallas Stars in 2019.
