HOUSTON – A fatal crash has shutdown part of the Eastex Freeway in Downtown Houston.

The crash is in the northbound lanes of I-59 toward the exit to I-10, near Daikin Park.
Authorities have closed off the freeway near McGowen Street.
The crash is confirmed fatal. Authorities are still investigating.
