COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – El Paso County Search and Rescue (EPCSAR) kicked off the New Year Thursday with its 48th annual Rescue Run.
The event started at 10 a.m. at the Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs. Participants could choose between a 5k or 10k run.
In 2025, more than 1,100 runners participated in the event.
All of the money from the event goes to EPCSAR, whose members purchase their own equipment and never charge for their services.
