A suspect was arrested in Arlington after a man was killed and woman injured in New Year’s Day shooting.
ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — One man was killed and a woman was injured following an early-morning shooting in Ector County on New Year’s Day, according to the Ector County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a shots-fired call at approximately 3:27 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of West 57th Street. Upon arrival, deputies found two victims with gunshot wounds.
One male victim, identified as Quincy Devion Price, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said next of kin has been notified.
A female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where she remains under treatment. Her condition was not immediately released.
Investigators obtained a murder warrant for the suspect, identified as Nathaniel Ray Anthony Tinner. Officials said the suspect fled the scene but was later located and arrested in Arlington, Texas, without incident.
