EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Saturday, Borderland! Hopefully, you are enjoying your weekend and the beautiful, comfortable weather. The warmer-than-average temperatures and dry air will continue into the workweek, with a shift happening on Wednesday.

Saturday’s low will drop to around 45 degrees and accompany partly cloudy skies. Winds will blow around 3-5 mph.

Sunday will have similar light winds and temperatures as Saturday; however, the cloud coverage will be increasing, producing partly sunny skies throughout most of the day. The overnight low will be in the upper 40s with mostly cloudy skies.

Monday and Tuesday will both be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Winds will continue to blow on the lighter end. Overnight lows will be in the 40s.

Wednesday will be cooler with a high in the low 60s and partly cloudy skies. There’s a chance for rain showers closer to noon. The winds will be blowing 5-15 mph from the southwest with gusts around 20 mph. Shower chances continue into the evening along with partly cloudy skies and a high in the low 40s.

Temperatures will begin to drop Thursday onward. Friday will have a high closer to average around 57 with mostly sunny skies.

Over the weekend, highs will be in the low 50s with lows closer and potentially hitting freezing.
