Texas Tech got its guy.
Brendan Sorsby, an ex-Cincinnati quarterback and the nation’s top portal player, will play in Lubbock for the 2026 season, according to multiple reports.
He was the Red Raiders’ first official visit Friday before taking a visit to LSU. After leaving Lubbock without a commitment, Texas Tech scheduled a visit for Ex-Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt.
On3 reported that Leavitt was dealing with travel delays on Sunday afternoon, preventing him from arriving in Lubbock at his expected time. On3’s Pete Nakos and Steve Wilfong then logged a prediction for Texas Tech to land Sorsby. Minutes later, On3 announced LSU was going to host Leavitt on a visit.
