SAN ANTONIO – Three people were hospitalized after a drive-by shooting early Monday, according to San Antonio police.

The shooting happened just before 3:30 a.m. at a gas station in the 1300 block of Roosevelt Avenue, not far from Steves Avenue.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the three victims — a 36-year-old woman, a 45-year-old man and a 48-year-old man — with gunshot wounds, according to an SAPD preliminary report.

Officers initially said only one woman was shot; however, SAPD’s report identified two additional victims.

The report said the shooter, an unidentified man driving a four-door Mercedes, drove by the trio and fired multiple times before driving away.

The gunfire also hit the gas station several times.

Further identifying information for the alleged shooter and the vehicle was not available.

All three victims were taken to the hospital, though the severity of their injuries is unknown.
