In Texas, folks love New Year’s Resolutions. I don’t mean to burst your bubble but, if you chose one of these; you may not make it.
I was hit and miss on New Year’s Resolutions, then, about 15 years ago, I made one that has held up every single year since. The feeling of accomplishment is pretty cool and this year, I’m doing it again. My resolution? No more Resolutions.

Some are easy, some are pretty tough but one common denominator is the fact that not everybody goes the distance. A buddy of mine’s “no more pot” resolution lasted exactly 15 hours. Midnight to 3pm. (I think that may be a record.)
He said it helped his hangover and, for what it’s worth, he did better with his “no more drinking” resolution. He got to the weekend with that one.
