One person injured after crash between motorcycle and vehicle

AUSTIN, Texas — One person was seriously injured after a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash in South Austin overnight on Sunday.

The crash took place on the 10000 block of Menchaca Rd. near Redwater Dr. and Old Manchaca Rd., with the Austin Police Department stating that the call came in around 2:30 a.m.

The 10000 block of Menchaca Rd. was shut down in both directions due to the crash investigation.

One male was transported with possibly life-threatening injuries. The roadway was cleared at around 5 a.m.
