(KBTX) – Former Texas A&M wide receiver Izaiah Williams announced he has transferred to Kansas State.
Williams was one of 14 outgoing Aggie transfers in the portal as of Monday. He and Solomon Williams, who committed to Cal, were the first to announce their new landing spots.
Williams made 7 catches for 64 yards as a redshirt freshman. All of his production this past season happened in the South Carolina (3 catches, 50 yards) and Samford (4 catches, 14 yards) games. He had a critical touchdown against the Gamecocks as part of the Aggies’ 27-point second-half comeback.
Williams follows his former offensive coordinator, Collin Klein, who left A&M to become the Wildcats’ head coach.
