The Plano City Council is set to hear more from the owners of land being proposed for a solar farm — and, as of last month, a data center.

The presentation is scheduled for the council’s committee of the whole meeting on Monday, following the regular city council meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. at Plano City Hall, 17 E. Main Street.

Black Dirt Farms LLC will argue that solar is the best use of the land at several sites north of Plano.

Also on the agenda is the approval of city bills totaling about $870,000, discussion of the purchase of a van for the water and sewer departments, and approval of the city’s trick-or-treat hours.

The council will also review annual budget amendments during the committee of the whole meeting.
