El Paso pizza and burger lovers are rejoicing because two local restaurants are expanding to the East side of town which means us eastsiders can cancel our cross-town road trips to enjoy some good pizza and burgers!
Orange Cow Burger has already opened their doors to their new Eastlake location, and The Pizza Joint will soon follow!
Both restaurants are local and have multiple locations in El Paso already, but most are in the west side or downtown area, so the move to the eastside came as a surprise to many, but a very welcomed surprise!

Orange Cow Burgers in Eastlake Now Open
What started as a traveling food truck parked outside Hush Hush Bar has grown into a full-on El Paso obsession. After opening locations at 955 N. Resler Dr. and 4018 N. Mesa near UTEP, Orange Cow has officially opened its third location at 13647 Eastlake.
Their menu keeps it simple but deadly: juicy, flavor-packed burgers that people constantly compare to In-N-Out (but we’ll let you decide that debate yourself), plus crispy fries that can be upgraded to loaded perfection. And you can’t forget their delicious shakes.
If you plan on checking out the new location, pack your patience! It’s still new to the area so it’s expected to be packed and lately, it has been pretty busy. But as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait!

The Pizza Joint In Eastlake Opening Soon
Now let’s talk pizza. I can confirm that when I saw the “Coming Soon” sign outside of the future Pizza Joint location, I SCREAMED! A joyous scream of course. I’ve been a fan of The Pizza Joint for years but was always bummed that I lived too far for delivery. Now, I can literally walk to the new location if I wanted to!
Pizza Joint was established in 2011 and has been holding it down for El Paso pizza lovers with massive 20-inch pies, pizza by the slice, and a vibe that screams local pride.

Between the art-covered walls, support for local music and philanthropy, and straight-up quality ingredients, it’s more than pizza, it’s an experience. With locations in Uptown, Downtown, and the Westside, their fourth location is officially landing on the Eastside at 13034 Eastlake, right at the corner of Eastlake and Emerald Park.
One follower asked when the new location was set to open and no set date has been announced yet, but a comment from The Pizza Joint mentioned that they hope to open within 3-4 weeks! They also encouraged followers to follow their Horizon social media pages to stay updated!
