A Plano man is under arrest following an alleged attempted home invasion in Montgomery Sunday morning.
Montgomery police say 32-year-old Jalen K. Ruff is charged with attempted home invasion, criminal damage to property, domestic battery and assault.
Police were initially called to a report of criminal damage to property in the 3300 block of Pecos Circle. Officers say the suspect, later identified as Ruff, had already left the scene.
Police say Ruff later returned to the residence and was taken into custody after allegedly trying to enter the home.
Ruff was taken to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville.
