AUSTIN — Parker Livingstone, former University of Texas wide receiver and roommate to quarterback Arch Manning, has committed to play for one of the Longhorns’ greatest rivals.
Livingstone is headed to the University of Oklahoma after entering the transfer portal, marking an end to his two years at Texas. In an Instagram post, Livingstone said he “never in a million years” thought he would enter the portal.
“Some things are out of my control,” the post said. “Such is the reality of the ever-changing landscape of college football.”
He also said playing for Texas “was a dream come true” and “the best time of my life.” He thanked coaches Stephen Sarkisian and Chris Jackson and his teammates and gave a special shout-out to young fans who supported him and wore his jersey.
“I was that same kid not that long ago; hope I have given them a blueprint that belief in yourself and extreme hard work is a recipe for achieving all of your goals,” he wrote.
Livingstone’s 2025 season stats for the Longhorns include six touchdowns on 29 receptions for 516 yards, according to ESPN.
