Jackson Walker has joined forces with AcctoFi, the professional learning brand powered by the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA), and other leading firms to launch the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Advisory Certificate program. The five-day, cohort-based program is designed to help CPAs, attorneys, and finance leaders strengthen their advisory capabilities across the full deal cycle.

The program will begin January 15-16, 2026, with in-person sessions at the Dallas Petroleum Club, followed by three virtual, application-focused sessions. The program features an interdisciplinary faculty of Jackson Walker attorneys, CPAs, investment banking professionals, and university instructors, with direct engagement from experienced deal practitioners. Participants who successfully complete the program and pass the proctored exam will earn the AcctoFi M&A Advisory Certificate and a digital badge valid for two years.

Jackson Walker partner William H. Hornberger, who directs content for the program, stated in the press release: “As Texas becomes an even more dominant force in the global corporate landscape, professional advisors increasingly support their clients through complex, high-stakes M&A decisions. This curriculum gives CPAs, attorneys and finance professionals practical tools and frameworks they can apply immediately. We’re proud to collaborate with AcctoFi and the participating firms to elevate advisory capabilities in the marketplace.”

Space is limited to 80 registrants, and the deadline to register is Monday, January 12, 2026, at 6 a.m. Central Time. For more information, visit the AcctoFi M&A Certificate webpage.
