Texas voters are less than a month away from heading to the polls for the state constitutional election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Here are the key dates to remember:

Early voting runs from Oct. 20 through Oct. 31.

Vote-by-mail applications are due by Oct. 24.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.

There are 17 proposed state constitutional amendments on the ballot this year. Here’s a look at a few of the measures voters will decide this November.


Prop 4: $1 Billion a Year for the Texas Water Fund

Proposition 4 is a proposed constitutional amendment that would set aside up to $1 billion annually for the Texas Water Fund.

Prop 13 and Prop 1: Property Tax Relief and Workforce Education

Proposition 13 would increase the homestead exemption from $100,000 to $140,000, potentially providing significant property tax relief for Texas homeowners.

Meanwhile, Proposition 1 proposes the creation of two new funds:
