Throughout the months of November and December, residents across Colleyville, Keller, and Hurst had packages stolen off of their porches and mailboxes, police said.
In a video released by police, the suspect can be seen wearing a face mask, denim pants, and tennis shoes. Officials said when it rained, she wore a jacket with the hood up, and when it was warm out, she wore a T-shirt with a wig.
The police departments from three cities collaborated with video footage and eyewitness accounts to arrest 42-year-old Danielle Copeland for the offenses on Monday, Jan. 6.
During the search of the vehicle Copeland was driving when she was arrested, police found around 50 stolen packages with the shipping labels torn off.
In an effort to return the packages to their rightful owners, police officials are asking residents who believe they had a package stolen from Dec. 18 through Jan. 6 to contact Detective Watson at (817)503-1266 or zwatson@colleyville.com. Authorities urge bringing video evidence if it is available.
