SAN ANTONIO — Voters in Bexar County can start sending in ballots for the county’s upcoming election starting Monday.
Some of the items voters will decide will be Proposition A, that would raise the county’s hotel occupancy tax to help fund a nearly $200 million dollar redevelopment of the Frost Bank Center and rodeo grounds on the East Side.
Proposition B would let the county use more than $300 million of the venue tax money to fund a new Spurs arena downtown. School funding measures are also on the ballot.
Before you head to the polls, make sure to bring a form of ID. It can be your driver’s license, military ID, or even your passport.
If you can’t find any acceptable ID, you can also bring a bill with your name, a bank statement, pay-stub, or a birth certificate.
Early voting for the November 4 election runs from Oct. 20 through Oct. 31. For more information, visit the Bexar County Elections Department website.
