The City of Deer Park has issued a shelter in place order, in response to a chemical release at the Lubrizol plant.
According to the City, emergency vehicles are on the scene, and Tidal Road is currently closed.
According to the City, “Fence-line monitoring is in place, and the Lubrizol Emergency Response Team is actively working to resolve the situation. At this time, there is no impact to the community.”
