Texas Longhorns offensive line coach Kyle Flood has made his first addition from the NCAA transfer portal by signing former Oregon State Beavers offensive lineman Dylan Sikorski on Friday.

The 6’4, 332-pounder has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

From Sumner on the southeast side of the Seattle metropolitan area, Sikorski signed with Oregon State in the 2024 recruiting class over offers from Air Force, Colorado State, Montana, Nevada, and Washington. As a recruit, Sikorski improved his athleticism by reshaping his body to complement a nasty streak and the play strength to serve as an effective run blocker.

During Sikorski’s freshman season, he played 50 snaps over four games at defensive tackle before moving back to offense and starting in six of his 10 appearances during the 2025 season, playing 444 snaps at the left guard position. Sikorski had some poorly-graded performances in pass protection from Pro Football Focus in allowing one sack, one quarterback hit, and six quarterback hurries and was inconsistent as a run blocker.

Based on those results, Sikorski could compete for a starting guard position, but should perhaps be more accurately viewed as developmental depth on a more positive trajectory than a departed 2024 signee like center Daniel Cruz or guard Nate Kibble.

Sikorski is the first portal addition along the offensive line in the Steve Sarkisian era, a move that reflects the staff’s emphasis on not making the same miscalculations they made last offseason that served as the biggest contributing factor in Texas missing the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2022.
