Marathon Sunday:
If you’re running or watching the Chevron Houston Marathon, the forecast looks close to ideal. No rain and no excessive winds with seasonable cold temperatures. However, “feels-like” temperatures will be in the 30s for our morning lows.

Neighborhoods like downtown, Midtown, Memorial Park, Montrose, and River Oaks will feel the biggest impact, with widespread road closures and crowds all weekend. According to Houston Marathon committee, more than 300,000 folks put on their tennis shoes to support, run and cheer – raising funds for over 60 local charities last year.
Chilly start but rain free!
Sunday morning temperatures in the upper 30 to low 40s across SE Texas. Partly sunny skies and light wind no more than 10 mph. The rest of marathon day should bring a slight warm-up to the upper 50s by lunchtime with continued light winds.
