FORT WORTH, TEXAS (13 News) – Koa Peat had 20 points and seven rebounds as top-ranked Arizona defeated TCU 86-73 Saturday.
Jaden Bradley and Anthony Dell’Orso added 17 points each as the Wildcats (16-0, 3-0 Bif 12) remained perfect on the season.
It is Arizona’s best start since 2013-14, when it won its first 21 games.
Tanner Toolson led the Horned Frogs (11-5, 1-2) with 20 points.
Motiejus Kirvas flirted with a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds for Arizona.
TCU was down by as many as 20 points in the second half, but cut it down to seven with around seven minutes to go. But Dell’Orso’s 3-pointer, and then Peat and Dell’Orso had jumpers to put it away.
Arizona returns to the court on Wednesday when the Wildcats will host Arizona State.
