A driver died early Sunday morning after they lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a pole before the crashed vehicle caught on fire, Dallas police said in a statement.
Officers responded to a scene in the 8200 block of Clark Road around 5:25 a.m.
Investigators determined the vehicle left the roadway, hit a pole and caught on fire, the statement said.
The driver, who has not been identified, died at the scene.
