No one is allowed to exit or enter all Frisco ISD campuses after the district received threatening emails, Frisco ISD says.

FRISCO, Texas — All Frisco ISD locations were secured Monday morning after the district received threatening emails, district officials said.

No one is allowed in or out of all Frisco ISD campuses as of 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, according to a social media post from Frisco ISD.

The campuses were placed on secured status out of “an abundance of caution,” according to the post. The email threats are believed to be non-credible, officials said.

“The Frisco Police Department has reviewed the information and currently believes the threat to be non-credible,” Frisco ISD said in a statement. “Campus School Resource Officers and principals are conducting perimeter checks at each campus, and police and district administrators remain on-site to continue monitoring and securing school facilities.”

Frisco ISD did not provide any additional information about the investigation. The Frisco Police Department will provide any relevant updates.Â
