Dallas police have identified the man who was killed in a dog attack in West Dallas Wednesday.
Police said they are still investigating the death of 41-year-old Antonio Turner.
Officers initially responded to a request for assistance by Dallas Fire-Rescue in the 4100 block of Esmalda Drive at about 3 p.m., a statement from police said.
They later found Turner and determined he was attacked by a dog inside of a home in the 4100 block of Pringle Drive.

He was taken to a hospital where he died from injuries, police said.
As of Monday, police had not responded to multiple requests for comment from The Dallas Morning News on why Turner’s death is classified as a homicide, if any arrests have been made or the whereabouts or breed of the dog.
