A familiar face is returning to lead the Dallas Renegades in 2026.

Quarterback Luis Perez will return to the Renegades after being selected in the 2026 UFL Quarterback Draft, the league announced Monday.

The former Texas A&M-Commerce quarterback has led the Renegades’ offense since 2023 when he led the team to an XFL Championship and won the title game MVP. He led the UFL in passing yards the past two seasons, passing for more than 4,600 yards in 20 games.

The Renegades also selected former Western Kentucky quarterback Austin Reed in the draft. The team will also continue to evaluate options for a third quarterback selection.
