Travelers flying from, to or through Dallas Love Field now face a rare dilemma at an airport: pancakes or wings? Or better yet, both?

On Jan. 13, 2026, Applebee’s and IHOP opened their first dual-branded restaurant in an airport in the world, located in Love Field’s public area before security, between baggage claim and TSA security check points.

The new establishment allows diners to mix and match dishes from both restaurants. For example, a traveler could pair IHOP’s classic pancakes with Applebee’s boneless wings.

“Being the first airport to offer a dual-branded Applebee’s and IHOP is a milestone for Dallas Love Field and for our passengers,” said Patrick Carreno, director of Aviation at Love Field, in a news release. “This unique concept brings travelers more convenience and a dining experience they won’t find in another airport.”
