One-Year Non-Thesis Track
Different tracks within the biotechnology program offer flexibility to help you reach
your career goals. The one-year non-thesis track provides an accelerated option focused on core coursework with limited laboratory
experience, ideal for students seeking a fast and versatile entry into a future in
biotechnology.
21-Month Research Track
For those looking for a program that is more research-involved, the 21-month research track combines advanced coursework with a full year of immersive laboratory research or
internship experience, preparing graduates for research-driven roles in academia or
industry.
Graduate Medical Education Sciences (GMES)
Offered at our Lubbock campus, the GMES program is a two-year, non-thesis Master of Science degree for students who want to
teach in the anatomical sciences or strengthen their preparation for medical school.
Graduates leave the GMES program prepared to pursue their chosen path with the skills,
confidence, and strong foundation they need.
