If you’re looking for art that pops, you’re in the right place. This November, Houston’s brand new Balloon Museum is set to unveil its inaugural exhibit – that despite what you think, will not go over your head. Pop Air – Art is Balloon is set to lift off next month at the Balloon Museum, and will feature large-scale, luminous displays by 14 international artists that celebrate art, air, and creativity. Balloon Museum is a global phenomenon launched in Rome.
Founded in 2021, the museum has welcomed over 7 million visitors through its numerous permanent and rotating exhibitions. In 2022 and 2023, the museum received the Best Event Award and Best Proprietary Format, respectively. The venue also provided the setting for multiple scenes in the Netflix series Emily in Paris.

The Balloon Museum will its second location at 2501 Commerce St. in Houston, Texas on November 15, 2025 with Pop Air Art – is Inflatable. The exhibit is a creation of the Italy-based Lux Entertainment. Founded by Roberto Fantauzzi, Vanessa Arcageli, José Linguella, and Andrea Lucentini, Lux Entertainment stages site-specific exhibitions that involve live performances, engaging environments, and monumental artworks.
The company has garnered 18 Best Event Awards in the three years since its inception. Lux Entertainment’s Pop Air – Art is Balloon exhibition in Houston will be the Balloon Museum’s first exhibit. The high-flying exhibit will comprise of large-scale, luminous, and interactive installations from 14 international artists. “The world’s largest event dedicated to air and inflatable installations is coming to Houston with monumental and interactive works,” said Lux Entertainment president, Roberto Fantauzzi, in a press statement. “In Pop Air, play becomes both a language and an intellectual experience — not just physical movement, but a journey inward”.
The project blends pop culture with conceptual research, engaging even those who don’t typically visit museums and offering them a truly memorable experience. Pop Air – Art is Balloon opens at Balloon Museum in Houston on November 15, 2025, and runs through April 19, 2026. Tickets are now on sale here.
