El Paso Water held another press conference Tuesday, sharing new progress on the massive water main break that has disrupted service across Northeast El Paso and parts of Central El Paso. Officials say crews are hopeful the break will be resolved by tonight, though a boil water notice will remain in effect until testing confirms the water is safe to drink.
El Paso Water says crews have continued working around the clock to stabilize the system and restore pressure. Customers are still urged to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and making ice until further notice.
