EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police have arrested two people, both residents of East El Paso, in connection with a Christmas Day assault involving a handgun.

Officers arrested 32-year-old Raquel Maria Cazares and 32-year-old Aaron Theocharides.

The incident occurred on Dec. 25, 2025, at a residence in the 13000 block of Alfredo Apodaca Dr.

According to the preliminary investigation, Cazares and Theocharides initiated an altercation with three female victims outside the home.

During the confrontation, Cazares assaulted one of the victims, while Theocharides brandished a handgun, pointed it at the victims, and struck them with the weapon before fleeing the scene.

Arrest warrants were obtained, and both suspects were apprehended on Jan. 3, 2026.

They were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
