During their Leadership Meeting on Wednesday, January 14, 2025, the Plano ISD Character, Attendance and Restorative Education (CARE) team proudly recognized three attendance awards to several Plano ISD principals.
2025-26 Attendance Marathon Gold Stars
The department recognized the 2025-2026 Attendance Marathon with the Gold Star Awardees for the third 6 weeks Attendance Reporting period. Campuses were celebrated for:
Maintaining an average attendance rate of 96% or higher
Improving by at least 0.5% over last year’s third six weeks, or
Increased attendance by 2% or more when starting below 90%
