Texas basketball (10-6, 1-2 SEC) picked up its first SEC win as well as a needed dose of confidence Saturday at No. 18 Alabama behind 28 points from Jordan Pope. Now, the Longhorns hope to build on their sudden momentum against No. 10 Vanderbilt (16-0, 3-0).

The only unbeaten team in the SEC, Vanderbilt takes good shots and takes care of the ball. The Commodores are one of two conference teams that shoot better than 50% from the floor, along with Missouri. They lead the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.88, and they’re second in turnover margin at plus-3.94.
