SAN ANTONIKO – The trial of three former San Antonio police officers charged in the shooting death of Melissa Perez continues.
Perez was killed in June 2023 after officers responded to her apartment for a mental health call.
On Friday, a judge denied a defense request for a mistrial. Attorneys for Eleazar Alejandro, Alfredo Flores, and Nathaniel Villalobos accused the state of omitting crucial information before the trial.
The state denies these accusations.
