LAST CHANCE “ALL THE ETERNAL LOVE I HAVE FOR THE PUMPKINS” The installation by Yayoi Kusama, featuring a mirror-covered room filled with yellow pumpkins dressed in black polka dots, includes a career timeline putting the importance of the pumpkin in Kusama’s art in context. Only two visitors at a time may enter the installation, and a timed ticket is required.

“[ _____ ] MIRAGE” SV Randall, a University of Texas at Dallas assistant professor of visual and performing arts, and Sara Dittrich, an interdisciplinary Baltimore-based artist, combine their video of the Tularosa Basin with data and live sound to show how what we see and hear is always shifting based on context and perception.

“SUNDAY CALL TO CHURCH: THE ART OF CLEMENTINE HUNTER” Gaze upon the paintings made by plantation-born painter Clementine Hunter. The exhibit includes 22 of her paintings depicting worship, work and community.

“PROTECTING CULTURAL MEMORY: A COMMITMENT TO THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE ART AND ARCHIVES HELD IN THE AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM, DALLAS” The installation features selected works from the “Fire” exhibit by Gregory Warmack. The artwork was created from recycled objects and found materials from nature that he turned into large-scale sculptures reflecting his life experiences.
