EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Independent School District announced that all remaining schools temporarily closed due to a water main break in northeast El Paso will reopen.
According to the district’s website, the remaining schools will resume classes on Wednesday, under a boil water notice, and will follow a regular schedule.
The district stated, “As we continue working closely with El Paso Water Utilities and reviewing updated information, the remaining schools will be open tomorrow.”
The affected campuses include:
Canyon Hills Middle SchoolNavarette Middle School, Clendenin Elementary SchoolPark Elementary School.
Safety protocols will be in place, including providing hand sanitizer, bottled water, and blocking off water fountains.
The district also noted that any campus under a boil water notice on Monday and Tuesday will remain open and continue operating under the notice until further notice.
