Keller ISD awarded Rachel Sanchez the district’s January Heart at Work Employee of the Month. Sanchez is a special education teacher at the Keller Compass Center.
Sanchez was nominated by Lauren Townsley and Scott Townsley for her unwavering commitment to students at DAEP and New Direction, where she creates a safe, encouraging space that helps every student feel seen, valued and capable, according to the district. Her dedication, advocacy and belief in her students truly make her the heart of the Keller Compass Center.
