The organization purchased a new facility on September 5 with support from City of Lubbock HOME-ARP grant funding. Lubbock ISD identified over 1,000 children experiencing homelessness in the area.

The campaign aims to create a larger facility designed to provide stability and support for families in crisis. The new space will feature 8,657 square feet of dedicated space for families, including 13 private family units, case management offices and multipurpose rooms for programs and community gatherings.

The expanded facility will allow Family Promise to serve more families while offering greater privacy and stability. The space includes case management offices for one-on-one support and multipurpose rooms for programs and community gatherings.

The organization plans to renovate the space to be fully equipped for families with children. The project focuses on incorporating diverse funding to ensure organizational sustainability and strengthening programs and staffing to adequately meet family needs.
