Houston-area Bojangles fans will soon have more places to grab fried chicken and biscuits — with two new locations coming to Spring and League City.
HOUSTON — Bojangles’ big national expansion includes a deepened investment in the Houston region, with two new restaurants set to open across the area by the end of 2025.
The Southern fried chicken and biscuit chain announced it’s adding 18 new locations across eight states, and two of them are in Texas ccommunities near Houston — Spring and League City.
That means Houston-area fans of Bojangles’ crispy chicken and sweet tea will soon have even more options to choose from. The Charlotte-based chain already operates three locations in the region in Richmond, Webster, and Tomball.
“It’s a monumental moment, now that we’re entering the New York Metropolitan area again,” said Bojangles CEO Jose Armario in a company statement. “The East Coast is craving the authentic, Southern charm that Bojangles delivers, and we’re excited to introduce locals to something new.”
While the company’s New York City opening marks a return to the Big Apple for the first time since the 1980s, the Texas expansion signals Bojangles’ continued growth into one of its strongest markets.
The chain currently operates 850 locations in 20 states and told USA Today it expects to surpass 1,000 stores in the next few years. Thirty new restaurants have already opened in 2025.
“This year has already been a landmark for Bojangles, and we’re just getting started,” Armario said. “Bojangles’ momentum is real, and we’re committed to keeping our foot on the gas on our mission to expand coast-to-coast.”
