Fort Worth city councilmember Michael Crain was arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), jail records showed.
FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth city councilmember Michael Crain was arrested on Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated, Tarrant County Jail records showed.
According to the jail records, Crain was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).Â
WFAA has reached out to Texas DPS and the City for comment. A city spokesperson told WFAA “the City is aware of the arrest by the Texas Department of Public Safety. This is a legal matter, we will not comment further.”
Crain represents the District 3 seat, which covers parts of southwestern Fort Worth. He has served as the District 3 councilmember since May 2021.
