A 21-year-old man was killed on Wednesday after a motorcycle crash during a pursuit from Medina County into Bexar County, according to authorities.

Damien Kisner of Uvalde had evaded authorities in Medina County and made his way to Bexar County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. 

It was not immediately known why authorities were attempting to arrest Kisner. 

Riding a Kawasaki Ninja, he veered off the road around 9:30 p.m. on U.S. 90 near mile marker 556, DPS investigators said. Kisner was ejected during the crash. 

EMS took him to University Hospital, where he later died. Officials said Kisner’s next of kin has been notified.

DPS officials said the investigation remains ongoing, and additional details were not immediately available.
