AUSTIN, Texas — A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car on the I-35 service road at US 183 in north Austin.
Austin police say that the crash happened a little before 3:45 a.m. Sunday morning in the 8000 block of the southbound I-35 service road near Anderson Lane and US 183.
APD says the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
