Boone died at the scene around 2:43 p.m., according to Tarrant County medical examiner records.

Investigators believe a group of 15 to 20 people were at the park when an argument escalated into a fight before someone in the crowd, believed to be Henderson, pulled out a gun and fired rounds.

Another person, who has not been identified, was also found fatally shot in a vehicle in the 1700 block of Handley Drive around 2:18 p.m., according police. Police said they believe the shootings are related.

Officers found the second shooting victim inside a parked vehicle at the location. They were rushed to a local hospital but died shortly after, according to police.

At the time, police said someone was seen running from the vehicle where the second victim was found. The person was later located at a nearby home. Officials did not identify that person or say if they have been arrested.

No further information about the incident was immediately available.
